Shadyshade is a family of lights made from paper. Each lamp is uniquely adjusted to a specific room ambience. The respective sizes and fi nal shapes stem from honeycombed aramid paper. In a computer-controlled procedure, this paper is cut and glued layer by layer until the final form is created. The five models presented here and developed for kkaarrlls are consequently only examples of this basic production process which, withwith regard to shape, size, and structure, is infinitely variable.
