Stretching out on the couch and cuddling up in a blanket, along with folding up the latter once we have relaxed, is doubtless one of the typical rituals of getting comfy at home. At first glance, Hanna Ernstings Moody Couch seems like a partial sequence from this familiar relaxation process: a couch and throw-blanket, radiating coziness. Basically this is true, but there is an extra. Hanna Ernsting combines the couch, its cover and the blanket into one unit that is, she interprets the cover as a more or less sprawling overlay, permanently fixed to the couch structure, but large enough to roll oneself into like wrapping oneself in an additional blanket.
